Ballotpedia, one of EnCiv’s founding members, offers users an enormously useful and increasingly popular set of election resources on its website.   Of these resources, my favorite is without a doubt the “Daily Brew” feature (and not just because I love coffee).

The Daily Brew

Ballotpedia’s “Daily Brew” is a concise, balanced, and informative compendium of the day’s key political developments at the local, state, and national level.

The feature highlights trends in policy and politics but also variety and experiments–the elements that led US Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis to characterize the federal system as a “laboratory of democracy”.  It somehow manages pack it all into a three-minute read.

Check out today’s “Daily Brew” here.  If you like it, you can have it sent to your email box every morning in time for–what else?–your daily brew.
