Turnout in the recently concluded UCLA student government elections rose by nearly 50%–a gain at least partly attributable to the use of EnCiv’s Undebates.  Although other factors were at work, that was the analysis provided by Undergraduate Students Association Elections Board chair Navi Sidhu in a piece in May 14’s online version of the Daily Bruin.

Under the headline “USAC election voter turnout increases with referendums on ballot, online format”, the piece charts recent trends in turnout at UCLA and its recent use of Undebates in student elections.
